Limited Annual Release 2024Our Celebration of theDeliciousness of Grain WhiskyThe calibre of whiskies we need for Hedonism have grownever harder to find, which is why our first ever expressionwill become a Limited Annual Release going forward.For the first batch we have turned to more mature whiskiesaged almost entirely in first-fill Bourbon barrels.Also, nearly a quarter of the recipe features the last of ourstocks of grain whiskies distilled in the 1990s, a periodwhen the use of maize was more widespread.This bringsan enhanced buttery weight to the overall composition.FLAVOUR PROFILEA complex array of patisserie aromas,with exotic vanilla and clove-infused caramel.Layers of creamy custard arrive on the palate,with accents of honey and mascarpone.A delicate citrus accent appears on the finish.SERVINGRECOMMENDATIONSIdeal enjoyed neat and slightly chilled.Alternatively, add an ice cube or splashof water and serve in a large wine glass.Works both before and following a meal.TECHNICAL DETAILSBottled at 43% ABV.Natural colour.Not chill-filtered.A limited release of 7,746 bottles.November 2023.LEAD WHISKYMAKERJohn Glaser & James Saxon.
